The peaceful city
Isabel Horn, Brady Gudofsky

When given this prompt of truth and peace Isabel and I were motivation to make something that represented peace and truth into one art piece. We used a box and inside is a dove, flower and found a text that represents both ideas, “And the Lord past by before him and proclaimed, The lord, The Lord, mighty merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in love and truth”. We are trying to connect truth and peace together because they are both equally important in making a better world. Each piece represent an different idea the dove represents peace because in the flood a dove was sent out and came back with an olive branch which is a sign that there is hope to survive the flood. Are way to represent truth was putting a flower which represent truth. We put these two symbols into a box because they are held together and makes a brighter world if they are released. We chose to lasercut the box and text to build around the dove and flower which are 3d printed. We chose to 3d print the dove and flower because when you 3d print we are putting color on these two symbols to makes them vibrated because they make the world brighter.

The digital model differs from the physical model because when you embrace the physical art piece you can fully see how we portrayed the theme of truth and peace with the dove and flower. We want the audience to see how you need to be truthful and be peaceful to have a happier life and truly have a meaningful life. They will see this when they look at her art piece and see how the dove and flower have color and everything else is black which diverts your eyes onto them and makes you realize that people need to be truthful and peaceful.
