The Road to
Peace and Truth
Mr. Jonah Anker, Mr. Zach Levy,
Mr. Noam Trommer

In this project, we had to represent the balance of the tension between peace and truth. My group decided to make a road forking into two roads, with a curvy road connecting the two of them. Both roads have a sign, one of them saying peace, and one of them saying the truth. One of the signs is black, and one of them is white, showing the stark difference between the two concepts.  The curvy road connecting the two shows that while they are different, they are intrinsically connected. There are also trees on both sides of the road, showing the fact that while they are different, both sides have their merits. This is not only symbolized by the trees, but the fact that they are lush and growing. We also have a quote on our statement, about the subject of  peace and truth. “הִנְנִ֧י מַעֲלֶה־לָּ֛הּ אֲרֻכָ֥ה וּמַרְפֵּ֖א וּרְפָאתִ֑ים וְגִלֵּיתִ֣י לָהֶ֔ם עֲתֶ֥רֶת שָׁל֖וֹם וֶאֱמֶֽת׃”, or in English “Behold I will bring it, healing and cure, and I will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.”  This shows both the differences and the similarities between the two. While this pasuk, is portraying them in the same place, and bringing them together hand in hand, also shows the fact that they are intrinsically different. This is shown by the fact that if they were the same, or at least very similar, it would not choose to mention both of them. In conclusion, our project shows the tension between truth and peace, but also shows the similarities between the two.

COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN ELEMENTS

Students utilized industry standard 3D modeling software, Fusion 360, to model elements of their artwork. Fusion 360 is a cloud-based 3D modeling software platform for product design and manufacturing. Typically used to design and engineer products to ensure aesthetics, form, fit, and function.
