Balance of the World
Yedidyah Levine, L Lapin, Zeke Jaffe

For our project we created a visual representation of the quote:

“On three things the world stands, on justice, on truth, and on peace.

.על  שלושה דברים העולם עומד על הדין, על האמת, ועל השלום

We laser cut the base and engraved the quote on it. We also laser cut the pillars that hold up the world which is made out of plaster mache and painted to resemble the Earth. We 3D printed the symbols that lean on the pillars. The fountain represents justice, the peace sign symbolizes peace, and the star of David represents truth. The symbols and pillars are crooked to show that the three ideas don’t always work in perfect unison, especially in this time. We tied a string holding the pillars together for the same reason. We should use this as a reminder of the power of these three ideas, and the good that can come of them.

COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN ELEMENTS

Students utilized industry standard 3D modeling software, Fusion 360, to model elements of their artwork. Fusion 360 is a cloud-based 3D modeling software platform for product design and manufacturing. Typically used to design and engineer products to ensure aesthetics, form, fit, and function.
