The True Path
Towards Peace

Ella Levi, Abi Wiseman,
Shiloh Ben-Yehoshua, Ranit Berman

Our project appears to be a circle when really it is representing how truth leads to peace. The Tanakh mentioned how Yosef revealed his true self to his brothers and eventually had a peaceful ending. Even though his brothers were cruel to him, Yosef decided to show his true identity towards his brothers. In other words, this message explains that we can only come to true peace when we stop creating lies and tell the truth towards others. We showed this by having Yosef shift from being his true self and Pharaoh of Egypt facing the circle. This is why we created a line through the circle that moves to show that the circle is only perfect when Yosef shows his true self to his brothers.

We made the circle with the Tanakh text with wood and laser cutted it to make a clean cut to show our precision and perfection of the circle. We also used clay to create the bird to symbolize peace between the brothers including Yosef. Our challenges with this project included having to shape the clay into a bird and place the quotes from the Tanakh on the outer rim of the laser-cut circle. At first, we wanted to 3D print the two heads of Yehoshua (not just write his name). Also we wanted a motor to turn the mini circle but there was not enough team. We hope you enjoyed our project just as much as we enjoyed making it.
