The Road to Peace

Our names are Daphna, Kira, Gila, and Shayna.
To represent the theme of Peace and truth we found the following quote. Our quote isfrom Pirkei Avot. It saysרַבָּן שִׁמְעבֿן בֶּן גַּמְלִיאֵל אבֿמֵר, עַל שְׁלשָׁה דְבָרִים הָעבֿלָם עבֿמֵד, עַל הַדִּין ועְַל הָאֱמֶת ועְַל הַשָּׁלבֿם, שֶׁסּאֱֶמַר
:(זכריה ח) אֱמֶת וּמִשְׁצַּט שָׁלבֿם שִׁפְטוּ בְּשַׁעֲרֵיכֶם
Rabban Shimon ben Gamaliel used to say: on three things the world stands: On justice, on truth and on peace, as it is said: “execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates” (Zechariah 8:16).
This represents the theme of truth and peace because it shows how you need truth and peace to live. The world only exists because of the harmony of truth and peace To represent truth, peace,and equality, we made an earth which is standing on two feet. We made a representation of the street to show that the world only continues to run properly when there is truth, peace , and equality. There are three cars driving on the road, which represent truth, peace, and equality.
We made the globe out of a styrofoam ball and we glued on green paper for the land. We used clay for the feet of the globe, and colored it as shoes. We 3D designed cars and printed 3 of them for the road. We wrote the word Emet on top of one car to symbolize truth. We used pipe cleaners to make the peace sign, which is on the second car. On the third car we used air dry clay and put an equal sign to symbolize equality. We used fake grass to make it look like a real street. We painted the board black and cut out yellow pieces for the street.
The hardest part of this project was making the globe look right. It was also hard to decide what to put on top of the cars to show truth, peace,and equality. We are proud of our 3D printed cars, which came out better than we expected.

COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN ELEMENTS
Students utilized industry standard 3D modeling software, Fusion 360, to model elements of their artwork. Fusion 360 is a cloud-based 3D modeling software platform for product design and manufacturing. Typically used to design and engineer products to ensure aesthetics, form, fit, and function.
