Stairway to Peace
Our names are Isabella Greenbaum, Orly Lebowitz, Ester Ginsburg.
To represent the theme of Peace and truth we found the following quote. Our quote is from Esther Rabbah 8:5.
.ויַּתְִרבֿמֵם הַגּבֿי הַרָּטָן והְַגְּבבֿהִים הֻשְׁצְּלוּ, ויַהְִי שָׁלבֿם ואֱֶמֶת בְּכָל הָאָרֶץIt says
This means ”The small nation was elevated, the dominant were lowered, and peace and truth were found throughout the land.”
This relates to the harmony between truth and peace because Hashem brought the Jews up and our enemies were brought down. This helped to establish truth and peace in the world.
This represents the theme of truth and peace because Hashem brings us up close to Him to have a relationship with him. Hashem establishes peace and cares for us.
We decided to make two staircases with people going up and with people going down. These two staircases are connected with a chain which goes into a wooden heart. We put our text on the wooden heart, which is threaded through the chain.
These two staircases connect because Hashem cares for us no matter how close our relationship is with him.
We 3D designed and printed two staircases. We had to reprint them a few times to get them right. We decided to use small people to represent people walking up and down the staircases. We used chains to connect these two staircases.
The hardest part was making the hearts and the holes in them to thread the chains through. We envisioned the project coming out different, but when we had obstacles in implementing our design, we had to change our plans.

COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN ELEMENTS
Students utilized industry standard 3D modeling software, Fusion 360, to model elements of their artwork. Fusion 360 is a cloud-based 3D modeling software platform for product design and manufacturing. Typically used to design and engineer products to ensure aesthetics, form, fit, and function.
