Our art piece, Peaceful Bedroom is based on this quote from psalms:
In peace, together, I will lie down and rest, for you alone, G-D, will surely restore me. (Psalms 4:9)
Our art piece consists of a room with a crib in it and a window, outside of which the day/night cycle is represented by a turning wheel with a sun and the night sky on it. The rapid spinning of the day/night wheel represents that no matter how long has passed there will always be a safe haven of peace, love, and harmony with G-D. The bedroom represents how G-D keeps us safe so we can lie down safe and asleep at night. We can lie safe and peaceful because we know that G-D will exact justice on those that seek to oppress us.
