Har Sinai Model

For our project we decided to build Har Sinai because it is one of the most important times in Jewish history. Har Sinai is when we received the Torah which has all our rules from Hashem. Without the Torah the Jews would be just like the other nations. The Torah is what makes us unique. On top of Har Sinai was the luchot which had the ten commandments written on it. The ten commandments are the ten most important laws given by Hashem. We built our project on a circular wooden base. We built a mountain in the center out of play doh. Around the mountain we used fake grass to represent the grass that was around the mountain. On the top of the mountain we put the ten commandments which we 3D printed. Our love for the Torah motivated us to recreate the time when we received it. Har Sinai also represents the themes of truth and peace. If the Jews didn’t receive the Torah, there would be no truth and peace because everyone would just make up their own rules to follow. The Torah is what makes the Jews a peaceful nation. An example of a law written in the 10 commandments is:
Don't have any other gods before me -"א יהְִיהֶ לְ אֱ הִים אֲחֵרִים עַל צָּניָ" This is what really motivated us to build this project because it represents our unity. This quote shows how the jews are a united and peaceful nation because we all follow Hashem’s rules. Overall, there is no other nation in the whole world that will ever have what we have; unity, truth, and peace between everyone.

COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN ELEMENTS
Students utilized industry standard 3D modeling software, Fusion 360, to model elements of their artwork. Fusion 360 is a cloud-based 3D modeling software platform for product design and manufacturing. Typically used to design and engineer products to ensure aesthetics, form, fit, and function.
